Determining a location is key for starting a franchise. We will evaluate and approve the perfect location by providing a detailed demographic analysis of the community, which will help inform your decision.

We offer extensive support to all our franchisees through our training program at our Head Office in London, Ontario, Canada. We also provide regional and on-site workshops, professional development days throughout the year, video materials, and manuals that cover all aspects of running a GradePower Learning® center. Whether you require help with speaking with a parent, with training a teacher, or with a student’s individual program, or with marketing and administration, our team of professionals will be by your side every step of the way—we are always just a phone call away!

Indeed, there is. The GradePower Learning® Franchisee Advisory Council (FAC) is an independent body made up of five elected franchisees who represent various regions. The FAC is governed by by-laws and is responsible for taking meeting minutes at each gathering. FAC members hold their position for two years, and communicate directly with Head Office, so as to abide by our corporate policy and ensure open communication between Head Office and franchisees.

Being a teacher is certainly not a requirement for running your own education franchise. We have had franchisees from all backgrounds successfully own and operate GradePower Learning® centers, from mathematicians, financiers, managers—you name it! As part of our promise to you, you’ll receive comprehensive training and support from day one, which will include information about hiring, training, and supervising teachers.

It is recommended that franchisees be as involved as possible, to ensure a successful and smooth running center. Much personal attention and input, as well as long hours, will be required. Hiring adequate, capable staff who are motivated to teach will help minimize demands of your center.
